Cruising then and now

The Queen Mary was built in the 1930s, so it’s fascinating to compare it with a Princess ship built this decade. Sometimes it’s hard to tell which is which…


As always, you can start the day with a leisurely breakfast in the buffet:

Followed by a quick walk down the passageway…

…to the lobby and lounge:

Then up the stairs…

Up on deck,

Take a look at the bridge:

Then back below decks in the elevator…

…and, in the evening, perhaps a visit to the ballroom…

and a late-night cocktail in the piano bar.

My, how things have changed!

    that’s such a nice thing to do Merc, aw, so lovely. You get son of the month award this month
    I lost Ashley at Sebastians school the other day for 20 mins so I guess Mother of the Year isn’t coming my way any time soon
